Welcome!

The first thing we want you to know is that you’re not alone if you’re dealing with parental alienation (PA). Thousands of parents – both male and female – suffer from this debilitating experience that leaves them feeling helpless, devastated, and isolated. The question is, what are you going to do about it?

If you’re an alienated parent, there may be some areas that you feel aren’t within your control, however, rest assured there are many things that you CAN do!

This site is a resource for insight, collaboration, and support.

You will gain insight from information that can help you understand parental alienation (PA), or that you can share to help educate other people, such as friends and family, or health and litigation professionals, to help advocate awareness around this global issue that destroys lives.

Collaboration is key to creating change in families, communities, and society. The system is broken. Many people, including health professionals and the courts, don’t fully understand PA and the detrimental impact it can have to both the alienated parent and children’s mental health, which can result in ongoing dysfunctional relationships, addiction, and suicide. The cost is too high to the children and parents suffering from PA. Experts consider it child and domestic abuse. So, the more we unite, as sufferers and professionals, the easier it will become to expose and stop PA. See our Get Involved page to see how you can participate.

Support is everything to an alienated parent. It’s likely one of the most painful experiences you’ve ever gone through. We’re here to help you by armouring you with valuable information and resources that you can learn and grow from, and use in health care, and/or in litigation, as follows:

  • Researched based quick facts about PA.
  • An information pamphlet that you can download and share. (Coming soon!)
  • A booklet that includes topics such as how to deal with your alienated child, the difference between PA and child abuse (for those being accused of the latter), ways to prove PA in court, and much more. There is a small fee for this, which helps us continue to do what we do here at CAPA.
  • Resources about health care and litigation professionals that specialize in PA, which is essential to getting the specific care and support that you need to deal with it, for your mental health and with the courts.
  • We will have upcoming mentoring and information programs available very soon too, so, contact us now to get your name on the list if you’re interested.
  • A Shared Stories page is also in the works, so stay tuned! If you have a story to share, send it in, so others don’t feel alone with theirs!
  • We also want to hear more about what you want and need from us, so drop us a line to let us know.

Take a look around, see what you like, and tell us what you want more of. We welcome your feedback, stories, and participation. If you’re a professional, let’s collaborate! Drop us a line to let us know how you can help.

Unity. Strength. Support.
